Manipulate Anchor Point

ScriptUI that moves the anchor point of a layer, with options to create a null and/or add anchor point expression and offset it.

Installation

1. Download the latest release of the script.
2. Copy the script file (Manipulate-Anchor-Point.jsx) to your After Effects scripts folder:
   • Windows: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe After Effects (version)\Support Files\Scripts\ScriptUI Panels
   • Mac: /Applications/Adobe After Effects (version)/Scripts/ScriptUI Panels
3. Alternatively, in After Effects, go to File > Scripts > Install ScriptUI Panel select the script file (Manipulate-Anchor-Point.jsx) and restart After Effects.

Options

• Anchor Point: select the point in the layer where the anchor point will be moved to
• Offset Point: offset to the anchor point from the selected layer position
• Add Null: add null to anchor point
• Parent to Null: parent layer to null
• Add Expression: add expression to pin the anchor to the selected point
