This YouTube video is a good reference for working around the Qt/Gnome problem. |

I'm using Seer on GNOME 3, Seer 2.2 built from source on OpenSUSE Leap, I can try any other Seer version from source if you like. Let me know if there's something I can test. For what it's worth, I am actually using system-wide dark theme and seer is indeed not picking that up. Also, the "Edit" menu just straight up won't open, although I'm not sure if that's GNOME related (also, I didn't really miss anything that I would expect to be in that menu so it's not like I care too much). But in overall it seems to be running fine so far. |

Seer is a Qt5 app. I've had a couple tasks and questions about Seer and the Gnome Desktop (not KDE). I've started this discussion to see if there are some people that use Gnome and have had success running Seer. And, if so, could they share their experiences and what they had to do to get Seer running smoothly. And, perhaps, what can be improved. This may not be a Seer problem but maybe more related to Qt and Gnome co-existing.
Particularly, in the area of running Seer with a dark theme.
Here's task #65 #116 as references.
