Hi,
I've seen your project currently on hackaday. If you like to I can add it to the wiki page.
Which link do you prefer? To hackaday or to github?
I'd also like to point you to my IRLremote library. This should work even better (if the protocol is supported) than the library you are currently using. I am using a very similar project than you to control my KODI media center and PC in general. I also added a NEC API to decode multiple button presses etc. There is some more work (and documentation) to be done, but the most recent dev2 branch seems stable to me. Try it if you like to: https://github.com/NicoHood/IRLremote/tree/dev2

Thanks for the awesome USB HID library. The fact that is supports waking devices from sleep was the thing this project really need but the standard HID library didn't support.
You can stick a link to this github on your wiki if you want.
As for the IR library, look interesting, when I get a chance I will definitely have a play with it.
