Deleting data point at the begining of large dataset (11k entries) brings iSense to its knees #2866

trying to remove the first data point in our dataset from GWA resulted in needing to restart the production server.

This function probably needs to be significantly modified such that we don't process way too much json.

This issue is definitely related to #2865
