Using WebUI on Windows 11 (Chrome or Edge)
Normal operation seems to work fine:
Devices were discovered and the virtual switches react nearly immediately when toggled (ie the “bulb” icon changes color appropriately), Switches are on local area WIFI.

Problem Sequence

  • Sonoff is plugged in the wall socket and in the off state
  • Switch the Sonoff to “off” using Web UI
  • Remove the Sonoff from the wall socket
  • Virtual Device icon remains unlit (as “off” – this is fine)
Now click on the device Icon to attempt to turn the Sonoff on – (which it can’t because it is not plugged in)
  • Wait 5 or more minutes
  • No change in device icon or “banner” (e.g. “office”) ever occurs
  • On the browser, hit “refresh”, and the red banner (“office”) immediately appears on the virtual switch

My Configuration:

  • Dmomoticz on RPI4
    Version: 2023.1
    Build Hash: f9b9ac774
    Compile Date: 2023-02-14 06:06:40
    dzVents Version: 3.1.8
    Python Version: 3.7.3 (default, Oct 31 2022, 14:04:00) [GCC 8.3.0]
    Active User: admin
Except for the discovery plugin, the Domoticz has no customizations
  • Discovery Plugin
Python Source: downloaded development branch on: 06/11/2023 13:42
  • Tasmotta binary
    version11.1.0 (tasmota)
    2022-04-13T06:40:42
  • Browser Used on Windows:
    Chrome and Edge

Now this could be a problem in Domoticz, or my setup, but seemed like the plugin was the first place to look.

Thanks in advance
