Intellij dialogs can't be moved

I notice that some dialogs opened by intellij idea cannot be moved. And they don't get window decorations (i.e. the emacs bar at the bottom). That's kind of annoying, they seem to open in the middle of the screen (not the middle of the window), so they overlap other windows. Interestingly, some dialogs do get decorations, like the settings dialog. Also interestingly, one can resize them without the exwm mechanism, one can just grab them with the mouse. But trying to move or resize the exwm way, with super-mouse move, does nothing.

Actually I just noticed you sort of can move them... you can first move the left side across, then the right side, then the top, then the bottom, by shimmying it across the screen one edge at a time.
