Currently, it's only possible to run custom commands on startup.

To run a command on shut down I've followed this blog
https://userscripts4systemd.blogspot.com/

It would be consistent with the existing "Application > Startup" setting to have a graphical interface "Application > Shut Down" to run custom commands on shut down.
