Problem

I use Krita, mypaint, gimp and many times I have to export my files to Photoshop format.

It would be nice if the file manager supported thumbnails for Krita (.kra), OpenRaster (.ora), Gimp (.xfc) and Adobe Photoshop (.psd) files.

This is mainly because, since there are many files, it is somewhat tedious to have to open the files in the different programs to review them.

I tried to do this but in elementary it doesn't work:

Proposal

Dolphin in Plasma handles very well the thumbnails of the files of the previously mentioned programs, something similar would be good.

This is really an upstream issue as Files uses tumbler to provide the thumbnails and it does not provide backends for the aforementioned formats out of the box. See https://docs.xfce.org/xfce/tumbler/available_plugins. It may be possible to provide custom backends I guess but I not sure this falls within the scope of this project.
