Can we make it small by replacing the capacitor with a crystal capacitor and its transformer?

the power could be a problem, it might be too weak to generate high voltage

No no it would be not a problem I think we can just need use more crystal capacitor

i think i already provide the original schematic and the bom in the repo, you can turn the markdown table into excel with this website
