I have 4 Dremel3D45 printers which I am trying to network using a print management tool, however, they are consistently losing connection. Is there any firmware update which might be able to fix this or anything? Thanks in advance!

Hello @ErinMutchler . We currently do not have a firmware update pending for anything related to networking disconnects, no.

However, we are working on a different firmware version for the 3D45 for a later date. There is no ETA at this time though.

@metalman3797 is there anything Erin could do in the meantime?

Hi @ErinMutchler ,

Are you having this issue on WiFi or Ethernet? Are you using any proxy, custom DNS or other custom network config? You can try running the firmware update from the USB drive again. The next time the disconnect happens can you get the printer logs using the following steps?

Format a flash drive to fat32
Create a folder on the drive called logFiles (Yes it is case sensitive.)
Plug the drive into your printer, wait about 15 seconds and unplug it.
Zip up the folder and upload it here for us to investigate.

I know I'm late to the game, but I also have the same issue. I can usually get one print off after rebooting the printer. It'll say it loses connection during the job but the print will go through. It's got a solid wifi connection and I'm running all new/updated gear with no other devices on my network having such issues.
