Example to-do List Application

This repository is a simple to-do list manager that runs on Node.js.

Getting started

Download Docker Desktop for Mac or Windows. Docker Compose will be automatically installed. On Linux, make sure you have the latest version of Compose.

Clone the repository

Open a terminal and clone this sample application.

 git clone https://github.com/dockersamples/todo-list-app

Run the app

Navigate into the todo-list-app directory:

docker compose up -d --build

When you run this command, you should see an output like this:

List the services

docker compose ps

If you look at the Docker Desktop GUI, you can see the containers and dive deeper into their configuration.

Access the app

The to-do list app will be running at http://localhost:3000.
