Pinta v1.3 and v1.4 do image cropping wrong by cropping much more than the user intended to. With v1.5 cropping seems to work correct. Debian Jessie seems to only include v1.3.3 in its repos.

Version 1.5 is available for example from https://github.com/PintaProject/Pinta
