Is there a reason why the panel is missing the clock applet?

It is rather annoying to add it there during every exam.

In the past YTL has stated something along the lines of Tää kello opiskelijan koneella on monimutkaisempi juttu kuin miltä päällepäin näyttää., which basically boils down to "the clock being a little harder to implement than it may seem". Personally I suspect the issue does not lie in lack of technical knowhow, but rather in the way that laws and/or government set rules limit YTLs ability to implement features like this.
In addition, YTL is already working on something to replace Abitti completely (something VM or web based, I hear), so this project should be considered being dead and way past LTS in their eyes.

Simply: Yes, there is a reason and before you ask, no, it will not be added in. Also, don't expect a response from them for at least a month. Sadly they don't check this repo that often... Though who knows, maybe YTL will have a change of heart, but that's rather unlikely.

The reason was about getting time's to be right with everyone so wrong times aren't YTL's fault (if I remember correctly from the meeting few months ago).
