currently LTS return f-t for the word fed
I believe it should be f-eh-d?
found when adding tests for corn-fed
@dhowe please verify if f-eh-d is the correct result.

also for de in de-emphasize (return d but should be d-ih) and re in re-apply(return r but should be r-iy)

also for u in u-turn and x in x-ray, for those maybe we should have a map of pronunciation for all single letters ?

agree, but it looks like currently some of those words (irregular past parts) are in the lexicon but some are not. sorting them out and add the missing one can take some time. I will make a new issue for this

and yes, f-eh-d is correct
