Deta Space with custom environment variables (web UI or CLI)

Hey team.

I'm going to try to run this fresh full-stack NextJS demo in a Data Space micro:

vercel/next.js#42962

however, it requires an environment variable DATABASE_URL to access a database hosted in an external database provider.

I have been learning Data Space, and found the following documentation regarding environment variables:

Pre-set Micro environment variables

but still not sure if it is possible to configure custom environment variables in the current Deta Space version via web UI or CLI.

Any help will be very appreciated!

Oh, answering myself, it IS possible via Spacefile presets. For example: nextjs-demo.silvioprog.deta.app.
