Deploy Now - split-a-subdirectory-to-a-new-git-repository

I have a repo with a few micros in subfolders.

Since only one micro is to be shared, I used https://ao.ms/how-to-split-a-subdirectory-to-a-new-git-repository-and-keep-the-history/ to create a new repository and the process works.

The new repo contains :

• .deta folder
• .env (file contains only the key but not the values
• main.py
• requirements.txt

My plan is to send this to my client.

Is this the correct procedure. I assume my client has installed Deta using the CLI?
