Description

I am experiencing lagging on the client side when using Barrier between an Ubuntu 22.04 server and a Windows 11 client. The lagging issue seems to occur after Barrier has been running for some time. Restarting the server side of Barrier temporarily resolves the problem, but the lagging reoccurs after a while.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Set up Barrier with Ubuntu 22.04 as the server and Windows 11 as the client.
  2. Use Barrier for an extended period.
  3. Observe that the client side begins to experience lag.

Expected Behavior

The client side should operate smoothly without lag, regardless of how long Barrier has been running.

Actual Behavior

The client side starts lagging after Barrier has been running for some time. Restarting the server side temporarily fixes the issue, but the lagging returns after continued use.

Workaround

Restarting the server side of Barrier resolves the lagging issue temporarily.
