Folder size increase with successful updates

The original application folder (app-0.0.298) size is 116mb. After launching and updating the Discord app newer application subfolders are created. This results in a doubling of the overall portable folder size. In my case an additional 133mb folder was created (app-0.0.306). This is not a preferential handling of updates. Not only is there increased file size but this could also mean outdated app folders never get deleted (resulting in incremental size increase).

Regular discord has this behavior, apps that use the squirrel installer keep one previous edition.
