Screen lock not engaging on Suspend or Screen off #6
Comments
Got the same issue. |
As a FYI until the problem solved: added the screen lock action with quick delay before it actually called the sleep action. |
@rogerbai can you please explain better how to implement your temporary solution? Thanks |
@zipelkopf Actually just changed the action.cpp under core/cutefish-shutdown to make sure the lockscreen is called detachedly. Not sure how this is implemented in the KDE-Plasa. This quick patch worked fine for me. |
I am running cutefish on the manjaro. |
Hi
I have just installed the latest version of Cutefish but when the screen goes off, either clicking on the "Suspend" button or I close the lid of the laptop, the lock never engages. So the next time the screen goes on then the password is never asked.
See settings below.
The only way to engage the lock is to lock the screen manually first (Option + L) or to wait for the screen timeout (i.e. 15 minutes in the example) .
Please let me know how I can best help to submit more technical details.
thanks
