In order to go forward with the analysis here you have to have a set of objects for each gene ("Theme" here) which have the summary statistic effect sizes and standard errors for variants within a certain region of a gene (1Mbp up and downstream in this case). I think it would be useful to automate this process if given a bed file with the coordinates of each gene and the summary statistic data.
I have the scripts I used for this process so I can use that as a baseline for the automated portion of this if necessary.
