Virtual tables

Are virtual tables usable somewhere in the API? If not are there any plans to implement that? Would you know any packages that do provide it?

I am running into difficulties using functionality built with go.riyazali.net/sqlite (for vtables) from crawshaw.io/sqlite. riyaz-ali/sqlite#16
