Contribution Guidelines

Please ensure your pull request adheres to the following guidelines:

  • Search previous suggestions before making a new one, as yours may be a duplicate.
  • Make an individual pull request for each suggestion.

If you have an idea for a project that should exist, please open an issue in project-requests so that people from the community can find it.

How to contribute an Awesome App?

To add a new app please add a GitHub path (owner/repo-name) to the items property of data/awesome-things.json. A GitHub action picks up this data and renders the Readme.

Awesome App requirements

To ensure the included applications follow a certain quality standard it has to fulfill the following requirements.

The app should:

  • solve a common problem for the Contentful community
  • include a screenshot.png to visualise the added functionality
  • have as descriptive project description on GitHub
  • be hosted publicly so that people can install it seamlessly
  • have clear instructions on how install it
  • make use of Forma36 to match the Contentful look and feel
  • have less than 10 unanswered issues and pull requests
