I'm not sure if this is feasible, but I believe authentication is a part of Docker/npm/opencontainer registries. I couldn't find documentation on this.
If I can set up a sponsor-only repository, could I set it up in such a way that the resulting Docker image is also sponsor-only? I could share the code, but I would like to be able to share a Docker container.
