Here is the view in when you are editing the file in GitHub.com, if you click PREVIEW and then SHOW DIFF at top
But when you view that same diff in the PR page under FILES CHANGED you get the less useful view:
This is less useful because the Wysiwyg view with inline in-sentence changes is better. But also because our markdown formatter splits lines willy-nilly and make this diff unusable for our content review team.
Yes, I have tried using the "HIDE WHITESPACE" button on the PR files changed page, but that does not change the view at all. Perhaps that HIDE WHITESPACE feature online considers spaces, not newlines.
