Certificates

All the Developer Communities which are using Commudle for managing their activities are looking to give certificates to their members for the events they are attending and other contributions they make to the community. Also, experts who are writing tutorials want to give certificates.

We want to add a feature where we have some pre-built certificate templates and the users can upload more in the form of images and decide where to put the names. This will be run as a separate micro service. You will be responsible creating the front end module in the current Angular app where it can be used to edit certificates, select people to whom certificates will be given and more.

How we will work

Proposal phase

  • The student will be come up with basic process flow and wireframe of the certificates module
  • We will discuss in comments of this issue before finalising
  • The student will submit a proposal with all the technical details with all the API’s she he will require

Development phase (for the selected students)

  • To keep this very engaging, mentors will be building the API’s and server side (as per the requirements in the proposal) and the students will be utilising those API’s to build the front end
