Fetch only once for multiple requests with the same data

I am using a custom fetcher to load app icons. Is it possible to make it fetch only once for multiple requests to multiple targets if data/key is the same?

I have a similar problem, I have the same image url on a screen being loaded multiple times and so there are multiple network requests, I want to make only one request.
