Codecov GitHub checks not showing up when using override_commit

I'm using the override_commit option in the codecov action, since our CI is set up to build the merge commit on each PR, and that seems to be the way to get the correct numbers. However it seems like the codecov checks don't show up in the list of PR checks anymore when I do that. Is that intended/am I doing something wrong here, or is this a bug?

@tgummerer I'm sorry this one got away from me. It's been a little bit, what can I do to help? I saw some chatter on the PR you mentioned but I'm a little bit lost.
