🐞 Youtube channel videos page keeps crashing browser

Concise Description

i was hoping some1 would report this by now or it be fixed in the next update when ever that happens but anyways

everytime i come to youtube & decide to start digging into channels looking for videos ill click the video tab on any channel then it will load half the page then gets stuck if i remain on the page it soft locks my browser until it asks if i want to kill the page after i click kill page it freezes then gives me blank page

been having the same issue for weeks, its unbearable in all honesty. been grasping at straws in settings to no avail & frankly im not sure what to do about it outside of 1. turning the entire extension off to click a tab or 2. getting lucky

I've been having this same issue on Firefox for months. I didn't realize it was an extension issue until I saw this bug posted. When I investigated it, it seems to be a memory leak issue or maybe something gets caught in a loop that eats up all the RAM. All the available RAM that Firefox can use quickly gets taken up by the tab trying to display the channel. I have found a work-around for this, and that's by typing "/videos" after a channel address in the address bar to just go directly there rather than clicking the videos tab on the web page. I can't guarantee it'll work on other browsers, but it's been working for me.
