Concise Description

I was working my way through a very long playlist yesterday (12/15/2024) when the videos stopped autoplaying. Logged out of account, back in, cleared cache, nothing worked and have to click the next video in the playlist manually.

Tried turning off the extension and it starts autoplaying the next video again. Also tried "un-Reversing" the playlist, and it started autoplaying again" That wouldn't normally be an issue since I could just turn off the extension, or watch the original order of the list until the issue was fixed, but then I am unable to "Reverse" the playlist to watch in a specific order, which is the main reason I use the extension in the first place.

I see there may have been some updates yesterday and that's the only difference since I was in the middle of the playlist and it had been autoplaying just fine. This seems to be happening on Chrome and Firefox. Again, autoplay in the playlist works just fine when the extension is turned off, or watching without the "Reverse" being selected.

Firefox

'Steps to reproduce' - Which of our features is required for the bug to happen?

Playing a playlist and the autoplay is not working when the "Reverse" order is selected.

Since when?

Since yesterday 12/15/2024. Didn't seem like Youtube had done anything, and since it had been working for hours before and suddenly not, maybe one of the updates for the extension?

Does the bug still happen when you log out of YouTube?

Yes

..No? Then please paste your yt.config_.EXPERIMENT_FLAGS. Twice (With the error & Without)

No response

Are any errors or related log-messages shown in the Browser-Console? (F12)

Not sure, since it seems like a lot but that could be related to the extension blocking ads, but I don't know enough to answer this.

Tested as the only active extension? (incognito mode or another browser users):

None

Expected preferred behavior:

ImprovedTube Version

Your Settings (From the Extension's -Hamburger menu > Settings > Backup & reset > Export settings)

I don't know enough to do this. I don't have the extension set up to work in Incognito. It does seem clearly to work if "Reverse Playlist" isn't selected or the extension is off.

This issue happens for me as well. The exact number when it stops working is when a playlist reaches index 400. From 400+, the playlist no longer autoplays. Here is an example playlist with the issue (link to index 400): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tuEGju7EDac&list=PLOi1NEWTH8AZkcayv6PgvfVxA_kXaN8py&index=400

26 Dec. I was able to use the force autoplay Off option by reloading the page. Now, if I open a video, it got suck. I cant make it play, it pauses immediately . B4, I could reload and it would work. No more the case. Chrome, last ver, Win 10.
