How do I add a channel/video to the blocklist?

I'm getting mighty tired of seeing videos from a channel I dislike showing up everywhere and I'd like to block them.

I've tried using the blocklist feature, but there's no obvious way of how it works or how to even interact with it, nor can I find a tutorial or FAQ detailing how to use it.

Is it broken or am I just a fool?

(And on an unrelated note, thank y'all for fixing yesterday's bug where a video's cover got stuck on the screen while the video continued playing behind it, much appreciate the quick work 👍)

Hi,
For the video blocking, you can hover over the video (either in the sidebar or in the channel, I don't see it in the search results tho) and you will see on the top left a block icon, click on it to add the video to the blocklist ( same as adding a video to watch later).
But I haven't figured out yet how the channel blocking works.

there is a button to block channel on channel page.

to add a visual example (because I came here to ask these same questions) the button is next to the Subscribe/Join buttons below the channel name and links, next to the profile picture.

strangely enough, despite most other features working while logged out in an Incognito window, this feature does not work. even though it's stored in the extension and not somewhere tied to my account (if I understand it correctly). not quite sure why that would be omitted since I find that having this on when trying to navigate the front page while logged out is when it would be the most useful.
