Air horn is a simple mod for Project Zomboid that adds an item which makes a lot of noise and attracts zombies. It is great for saving ammunition and constantly staying on the move.
In an episode of The Walking Dead we can see Daryl using an air horn to attract the horde. I wanted to integrate this item into the game for my first mod
- The Air Horn is a small object that makes as much noise as possible.
- Download the latest release from the repository releases section.
- Unpack the release with your preferred file archiver (rar, zip, 7zip, etc.) to game mod directory.
- Start the game and select the mod in the Mod-Options screen.

- Find or construct the Air Horn item.
- Equip the Air Horn item and press the left mouse button.
- Do not stay in the area!
