The goal is to implement Kubernetes Container Scanners that will act as a tool for creating an inventory of all Kubernetes containers in our environment.
This will offer a complete view of all the container instances being utilised by all services.

There is an interdependency with GH inter-cluster connectivity challenge.

For the MVP, we:

  • deploy scanner per cluster.
  • make the assumption that the clusters can all reach the centrally deployed Heureka.
  • equip scanners with read-only service acount
