Context

Introduce authentication for OpenSearch Dashboards in the Greenhouse environment.

  • Service Proxy Authentication: Evaluate the use of a service proxy for authentication, similar to the mechanisms used for Plutono and Perses.
  • IAS Tenant Connection: Enable tenant-based user authentication and clarify how customers of Greenhouse could connect to their own Identify Provider.
  • IAS Access Mapping: Enable mapping of access rights between Greenhouse and OpenSearch using IAS, ensuring seamless role and permission alignment.
