Is your feature request related to a problem?

The Prometheus/Thanos deployed in the customer (remote) clusters by the kube-monitoring plugin are on the critical path for monitoring. Therefore, we have to monitor them and alert if they have issues. Otherwise the operation of the customer cluster is on risk.
