Describe the bug

Every time the mobile device's network status changes, the android app loses its config data, and gets logged out.

Also, probably, this happens only in the cases where the app is set up to connect to a self-hosted instance of Chatwoot.

To Reproduce

  1. Install the Chatwoot Android app.
  2. Set it up to connect to a self-hosted Chatwoot instance.
  3. Close the app.
  4. On the mobile device, switch the flight mode on/data off. Wait for a few minutes, and switch the flight mode off/data on.
  5. Reopen the app (it will be logged out)

Expected behavior

A change in the device's network status should have absolutely no effect on the app's saved config.
Environment

  • Describe whether you are using Chatwoot Cloud (app.chatwoot.com) or a self hosted installation of Chatwoot. Self-hosted
  • Device Name: [e.g. iPhone6] Android mobile
  • OS Version: [e.g. iOS8.1] Android 13
  • Chatwoot App Version: [e.g. 1.2.0] 1.10.28
  • Chatwoot Server Version: [e.g. 1.16.0] 3.6.0

Actually, not just 'network status' trigger, but it seems to be happening on an adhoc basis as well.

After a few hours of usage, the app just logs out by itself!

It's been 10 days since this bug was reported, and there's not even an acknowledgment/resolution/feedback for it!

@arladmin We have investigated this issue and were unable to replicate it using both our cloud and self-hosted versions. If possible, could you please share a screencast? We also suggest checking the behavior on an iPhone, if available, or using other accounts on an Android phone.

@muhsin-k
So far, the issue seems to be with one particular account (the primary one).

Why could that be?
And how to resolve it?

Same issue with Chatwoot.com on an Android vote.
