It has not been extensively tested, but on one of my Haxophones I've confirmed that:
The image boots and reports git commit version in logs (Starting haxophone (version 2493652)..., thanks to Peter Morton)
Haxophone is playable standalone
Haxophone works as a USB MIDI instrument with Garage Band
No smoke or funny smells 🚒
To prepare this image I've written a new provisioning script that automates most of the steps captured in the development guide. You might want to use this if you are preparing your own images (for instance, on different SD card sizes).
The Pi Zero 2 looks very promising. Compilation time is 4x faster than the Zero and boots twice as fast: from power up to chime in 30s. I'll use it as my main RPi for the next weeks and see how it goes.
