MTS200B or any other thermostate device is listed in plugin v10.2.0 config #554

v10.2.0 doesn't list any kind of thermostate device in the plugins config section which makes it impossible to config a device like a MTS200B.
Can you please put an example in the repo how to configure a thermostate device using a local connection?

TIA

Hi @collacocca

Please check v10.2.2, you should now see a section 'Thermostat Devices' in the settings UI to configure these devices!

Thanks for reporting this!

Hi bwp91

Many thanks for the quick addition.
Here homebridge is running on a Synology with Node.js Verion 18.15.0-1008, which is the current one on the Syno platform. The error message -
The plugin "homebridge-meross" requires Node.js version of ^18.19.0 || ^20.10.0 which does not satisfy the current Node.js version of v18.15.0. You may need to upgrade your installation of Node.js - see https://homebridge.io/w/JTKEF

When starting Homebridge we get the log msg -
Device_XX missing config property 'model' for this device.

Out of 4 devices only 2 recognize the current temperature. All devices are gray, are set to 'off'. Switching to another mode is not possible. Switching via iOS Homekit results in the error -
Device_XX sending update failed as socket hang up at Function.AxiosError.from (file:///volume3/homebridge/node_modules/homebridge-meross/node_modules/axios/lib/core/AxiosError.js:89:14)

Any idea?
TIA

By the way - I have received a message from Meross that changes will be made to the iOS app and the cloud APIs from 24/01/01. If you have not received the message, I will be happy to forward it to you.
