Better rift detection criteria

Amery provides a good example of why a small ice thickness (say, 2m) is a bad criterion for being a rift. There, the rift infill was 30m (freeboard)! Should probably define it as a fraction of the ice thickness? On Amery, the melange was nearly 50% of the ice thickness!
