Inline tags render incorrectly in reading view

What happened?

Describe the bug

Inline tags are rendered incorrectly in Reading View with the space preceding the # as a blank pill.

To Reproduce

I created a new vault and added only the dataview plugin (without adjusting any settings, restarting after enabling the plugin). Theme (and all other Obsidian settings) left unchanged.

Expected behavior

Visually the Live Preview and Reading View should match.

Priority

This has been reported in the past as #1547, #1056, #1674 and #1494 and either were unable to be replicated or appeared to be isolated instances related to the users' theme.
