Query Works Some Months, not Others

I have the following query which works for some months, but for the last 2 months it is not working.
I have tried to reload the view, close the file and re-open, etc. I have not changed anything in my daily template at all.

This is the query

In the following image I have outputted the value of the crResult.value and as can be seen in the month that does not work (October) it has an empty values array, when I load up September you can see there are 30 items in the values array, this lines up with the fact that I completed 30 code reviews in September.

For some reason the query is no longer (as of October) counting the items properly. I have also tried to generate this months monthly note (November) and it also has all 0's for the counts.

I am not quite sure what could be going wrong here, but again nothing has changed with my daily template in the last 4 months and my monthly template has not changed at all this year. I am not quite sure how I could further debug why there are no results under values for October and November.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.

It turns out my substring was not formed properly and I was only lucky that it worked for single digit months. I had to change that from 6, 8 to just 5 and everything started working.
