This originally came up in #8044 but I think warrants some additional discussion for both that specific case and more generally.
Our badge specification sets the standard for defaults, and this often comes up in the context of default label values on the badges. At the same time, we've also affirmed in many past discussions that the label does need to be descriptive enough to set explanatory context for the message.
So the questions in my mind are thus:
For the OpenSSF Scorecard badge, does the current default value of score meet that threshold for sufficiently contextual, or would it be preferable to change it to something like security score as @azeemshaikh38 suggested
Should any of our other score-related badges that currently have a default label of score be reconsidered, and if so what should they be/how should we handle these going forward?
