Unfortunately, just getting rid of the rounded corners won't massively aid your quest of aligning the clips: However, it is planned to add a grid to align clips to beats and measures. |

The problem: Currently, the tops of clips have rounded corners. This can make it difficult to see quickly/visually if multiple tracks are aligned because there's a little gap at the top of each one for the rounded corner.
The solution: In preferences or "view", allow users to select whether to turn clip rounding "on" or "off". This could also apply to the bottom of clips if people wanted (since they are currently unrounded).
Alternatives: I'm not sure. Maybe a way to permanently turn on "snap guides" or otherwise visually signal the time position of multiple clips? Or a way to turn off clip handles completely, though that would be annoying in a different way.
Additional context: I don't have any, but import any track into audacity and you will see what I mean with the rounding and how it's hard to see at-a-glance if things are lined up without checking every single track for a snap guide (which itself can introduce more issues).
