Checkboxes are not drawn for moved items until page refresh

When an item is drag/dropped to reorder, the checkbox for mass actions is not drawn until the page is refreshed. I'm sure this behavior is related to the Javascript Moodle uses for the drag/drop capability being called after the Javascript the mass actions block uses to draw the checkboxes, but is there a way to resolve this? It results in items being excluded from the mass action selected if the user does not refresh the page before specifying the action.

Related to that, when one renames a section, it is not refreshed in massaction block until page refresh
