Description

service not starting and going to paused status

• nothing been written to couchDB Logs

• CouchDB folder has full access

Steps to Reproduce

Expected Behaviour

service not starting and going to pause status

Your Environment

• windows server 2019 standard
• • CouchDB version used:3.2.0
• • Browser name and version: chrome and edge
• • Operating system and version: windows server 2019

Additional Context

• account running service has full admin right

Never worked before , seems that erl.exe crash ing and not able to start , the C++ seems to be okay

getting dump file created when trying to run erl.exe
Slogan: init terminating in do_boot ({cannot get bootfile,C:\CouchDB/bin/start.boot})

any suggestions or thoughts ?

Can you completely remove an re-install the latest version v3.3.3?

we did many times but did not help , we are already using 3.3.3

Looking at your screenshots, there where different CouchDB version installed. Please remove them all and delete all existing CouchDB dirs and reinstall it. For testing purpose, don't install the CouchDB service and try to start CouchDB from an admin shell after installation.
Do you have any anti-virus software running?
