This code defines a function called replaceSsmlTagsWithEmojis that takes an input string ssmlText and replaces SSML (Speech Synthesis Markup Language) tags with corresponding emojis based on a predefined mapping.

The ssmlTagToEmojiMap object contains key-value pairs where the key is an SSML tag and the value is the corresponding emoji. For example, the key 'speak' maps to a space emoji ' ', the key 'break' maps to a sleeping emoji '😴😴😴', and so on.

The function first initializes a variable emojiText with the input ssmlText. It then proceeds to replace self-closing SSML tags with emojis using a regular expression and the match method. Self-closing tags are tags that don't have a closing tag, such as <break time="200ms"/>. The function iterates over the matches, extracts the SSML tag and its attributes, looks up the corresponding emoji in the ssmlTagToEmojiMap, and replaces the match with the emoji in the emojiText string.

Next, the function replaces opening and closing SSML tags with emojis using a regular expression and the match method. It follows a similar process as before, but this time it handles both opening and closing tags. Opening tags have the format <tagname attributes> and closing tags have the format </tagname>. The function iterates over the matches, determines whether it is an opening or closing tag, extracts the SSML tag and its attributes, looks up the corresponding emoji in the ssmlTagToEmojiMap, and replaces the match with the emoji in the emojiText string.

Finally, the function replaces the initial SSML tag (the tag at the beginning of the ssmlText) with the corresponding emoji using a regular expression and the match method. It extracts the SSML tag, looks up the corresponding emoji in the ssmlTagToEmojiMap, and replaces the match with the emoji in the emojiText string.

The function then returns the modified emojiText string.

The code also includes an example usage where it defines an SSML string ssml, calls the replaceSsmlTagsWithEmojis function with ssml as the argument, and logs the result to the console.
