It used to be that if the LaTeX engine had an error it would spit out regardless of verbosity level. For some reason all we get now is a blank line when there's a problem, and you can only see it with --debug.

I suspect switching to lualatex changed the output format just enough to break whatever we were doing to scan for the error text when it occurs.

I think the problem is the logic (sic) in https://github.com/aesiniath/publish/blob/main/src/LatexOutputReader.hs needs updating.

could be the marker for the end of the error message output?
