Implement a way to override what ~ points to when developing.

Outcome

  • While config files still allow ~ paths, when developing all of these point inside the folder

Notes

  • Ideally, in a way that is transparent for us later down the line, aka we initialise all paths with a given method, and the method handles this decision.
