Hi all

Boot is not complete on asus motherboards with latest bios versions on Z790 chipset and others. With old bios version work fine.

I haven't experienced hangs during boot but I have seen early boot failures and kernel panics due to memory corruption depending on the slide. OC thinks 52 slides are usable on my system (ASUS ProArt Z790-CREATOR on BIOS 2504):

10:770 00:001 OCABC: Only 52/256 slide values are usable!
10:771 00:001 OCABC: Valid slides - 0-51

But in reality only slides 0-13 work, but slides above that result in boot failures. It actually seems like there's a hole; IIRC I previously saw that slides 36-51 also worked, though this was tested on a previous BIOS version.

In any case, I don't think this is an OC bug; it may just be a firmware issue.
