Hi, we customized the datepicker to support a custom day button renderer along with event handlers on month view change, in order to accommodate our internal company needs. Is this something that you would be interested in merging back into this repository? If so, please let me know and I will prepare a pull request with the changes.

@mbednarik Feel free to send you PR regardless the exact code even it's just a hint/suggestion and not merging purpose. Of cuz, your credit will be always given properly.
Maybe there are some user cases I was missing or internal codes are not flexible enough to make personal customization.
I can always learn something from it.
