How to define a ResourceDenition for nested relationship?, Ex.
/products/:id/templates/

sorry for the delayed answer...

should not be necessary, all you need is a definition for "products". Or if the type and url matches (meaning both "products"), you do not need a resource definition at all.

What would be necessary however is a "relationshipName" field in the "Query" object.
